Core Leadership Team

The core leadership team or “leadership nucleolus” of the troop is the Chartering Organization Representative, Committee Chair, Scoutmaster and Senior Patrol Leader. These individuals are the leaders for each level of the Troop’s organization.

Each leader is responsible for communicating and gaining feedback from their level.

We use this team to provide leadership and direction for the troop. This is significant. With these four individuals communicating and behaving in the same manner, the Troop’s resources have a greater opportunity to be aligned and operating in the same manner.

A good example would be a rowing team. The leadership team is calling the cadence and the Troop’s members are paddling together in unison in the same direction.
